Courses to assist in online teaching practices, strategies
Extended Campus has scheduled four upcoming 60-minute interactive sessions to assist SIU Carbondale online faculty and instructors, starting on Wednesday, Jan. 29.
The monthly online Teams sessions are designed to empower faculty and instructors with valuable resources and insights to enhance teaching practices, spotlight essential topics in online education and promote collaboration for faculty growth and student success. You can also access the Teams sessions by scanning the QR code on the flyer.
The spring 2025 sessions are:
Jan. 29, 9-10 a.m. — “Engaging Online Students.”
Feb. 27, 1-2 p.m. — “Promoting Inclusive Online Pedagogy.”
March 19, 3-4 p.m. — “Assessing Online Learning.”
April 24, 10-11 a.m. — Optimal Practices for Online Learning.”
The sessions are open to everyone and will be recorded for future access at extendedcampus.siu.edu/resources.
