Title IX training to be offered in person on Nov. 13

SIU Carbondale employees have an additional option to complete mandatory Title IX training. The Office of Equity and Compliance will conduct in-person training from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, in Morris Library’s John C. Guyon Auditorium. 

Pre-registration is required. Employees who want to attend the in-person session need approval from their supervisors, but they will not need to use paid time off or their lunch hours. The link to sign up is available on the Office of Equity and Compliance workshops page under the heading “Moderator-Led Viewing of Preventing Harassment and Discrimination.” 

All employees must complete the training either in person or online before Dec. 13, 2024. Online training for “Preventing Harassment and Discrimination Supervisors + Clery Act and Title IX” is still available on the Office of Equity and Compliance website.
