Sessions set to assist in online teaching practices, strategies
Extended Campus has scheduled three upcoming hourlong interactive sessions to assist SIU Carbondale online faculty and instructors, starting on Tuesday, Oct. 29.
The monthly online Teams sessions are designed to empower faculty and instructors with valuable resources and insights to enhance teaching practices, spotlight essential topics in online education, and promote collaboration for faculty growth and student success.
The fall 2024 sessions are:
- Tuesday, Oct. 29, 1-2 p.m. — “AI Goes to College.”
- 12, 9-10 a.m. — “Online RSI 101: Regular Substantive Interaction and the U.S. Department of Education.”
- 4, 10-11 a.m. — “Preparing Your Online Course for the Next Term.”
The sessions will be recorded and available on the Extended Campus website.
