Record-setting night for Saluki football, fans
Although the outcome wasn’t what Saluki football fans expected in the “War for the Wheel” with Southeast Missouri State on Sept. 21, their passion definitely showed.
The 13,421 fans made this the highest attended game since opening night for Saluki Stadium in 2010. In addition, the all-time single game ticket revenue record — set last year at $117,243 — was shattered by $28,560 to total $145,803, a 24% increase. The concessions gross revenue record of $58,895 was also easily broken and is expected to be around $80,000.
