Job analysis questionnaire deadline extended to Aug. 16
The deadline for SIU Carbondale civil service and administrative/professional employees to complete the job analysis questionnaire (JAQ) has been extended to Aug. 16. The JAQ is a key component of Compensation 2030, a project to create an updated, more equitable and more competitive compensation system at the university.
The purpose of the JAQ is to provide Human Resources and CBIZ Compensation Consulting with an accurate description of staff employees’ current job responsibilities. Civil service and A/P employees received an email on July 29 from noreply@qemailserver.com with a link to the questionnaire, which can be completed in multiple sittings. After employees finish the questionnaire, supervisors will have an opportunity to review the responses by Aug. 23.
The information gathered through the process will be analyzed to ensure employees are properly classified before the next steps in the equity and market analysis study are complete.
