Faculty, staff volunteers needed for info stations Aug. 19, 20
New Student Programs is hosting information stations at four strategic locations around campus on Aug. 19 and 20, the first two days of classes, and faculty/staff volunteers are needed to help. Students can stop by the tents to ask questions, get directions, get a bottle of water or just chat with volunteers. A New Student Programs leader will also be at each of the stations, which will be located at the Agriculture Building, Anthony Hall, the Student Center and Lawson Hall.
Sign up online by Wednesday, Aug. 14, for shifts, which run about two hours each. Volunteers are encouraged to wear their Saluki maroon and nametags. Email questions to orientation@siu.edu.
