Applications open for Thrasher Undergraduate Research Fund
Applications are open for undergraduate students interested in competing for research funds through the Susan C. Thrasher Undergraduate Research Fund, offered through the Office of Vice Chancellor for Research. The application deadline is 11:59 p.m. April 29.
Students receiving awards will work with a faculty mentor on a research project during the 2024-2025 academic year. At the end of the research experience, students will submit a report to their mentor and present a poster detailing their research or creative activity project during the spring 2025 Creative Activities and Research Presentations forum. When the activities are completed, $1,500 will be credited as a cash award to the student’s account. Research activities are between the first day of the fall 2024 semester, Aug. 19, 2024, and April 30, 2025.
