Save the dates for SIU’s 2024 Saluki Family Weekend, Homecoming
CARBONDALE, Ill. — Mark your calendars, save the dates and plan now to attend Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s 2024 Saluki Family Weekend and Homecoming celebrations.
Family Weekend Sept. 19-22
Saluki Family Weekend 2024 is Sept. 19-22. The Saluki football team will take on the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks on Sept. 21. Numerous other special family-oriented activities will take place throughout the weekend.

Homecoming Oct. 7-12
This year’s homecoming, set for Oct. 7-12, promises to be a week of fun and excitement culminating with the Salukis in gridiron action against the North Dakota State Bison on Oct. 12. A wide variety of special events are happening throughout the week, including a big block party, court selection, the homecoming parade, tailgating and much more.
