Network Empowering Women brown bag lunch is Wednesday
Faculty and staff are invited to attend a brown bag lunch hosted by SIU Network Empowering Women (NEW) in the Faculty and Staff Lounge at Old Main in the Student Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10.
The luncheon will include updates from NEW and offer an opportunity to provide feedback about issues faculty and staff would like NEW to address during the spring semester. Those attending are invited to bring their lunch or purchase food from one of the locations in the Student Center.
NEW works to examine, amplify, address and improve issues affecting women on the SIU Carbondale campus, including issues connected to the region. Additional information on the organization’s mission and goals is available on the Vice Chancellor for Anti-racism, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion website.
