SIU staff encouraged to attend a virtual wellness session Feb. 5

The SIU System will offer a wellness session for staff only on Feb. 5. The session on understanding how your unique roles play into SIU’s mission-driven purpose, and how to work together to achieve those goals and vision of an inclusive culture, is from noon to 1 p.m. The session will be led by Dr. Susan Thompson Hingle, associate dean in the SIU School of Medicine’s Center for Human and Organizational Potential and professor of internal medicine and medical humanities. See the flyer for the link to the meetings and the credentials.

The administration encourages supervisors to allow their employees to attend this professional development opportunity, as operations permit. Staff should seek approval to attend from their supervisors as early as possible. Staff are not required to take vacation, personal time or lose their lunch hour to attend this event.
