Proposal mentors to help faculty seek external funds
Faculty researchers who want to increase their chances of snagging external funding have a new resource through the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research.
Proposal mentors are available to assist in evaluating and offering comments aimed at improving research funding proposals for state, federal and private outside agencies. A list of mentors with contact information and their familiarity with various funding agencies can be found on the OVCR website.
Faculty who are planning to submit proposals may contact a member for assistance in preparing their proposal. The mentor will assist based on their availability. Faculty should anticipate at least three weeks lead time to receive assistance.
