CARBONDALE, Ill. — Juniper Oxford, an educator and historian of gender and sexuality, is the new coordinator of the LGBTQ Resource Center within the Student Multicultural Resource Center.

Her research focuses on trans lives in the 19th and 20th centuries, and her article, “Draft Dodger, Soldier’s Wife: Trans Feminine Lives, Civic Duty and World War II” will be published later this month in “Trans History by Trans Historians” issue of the Graduate History Review at the University of Victoria.
