SIU welcomes 1,150 youth conference attendees next week
The SIU Carbondale campus will be a busy place July 18-21 as the university hosts the largest youth program for summer 2023. About 1,150 high school students and chaperones will be attending the Beyond Reasonable Doubt – Higher Things Conference 2023.
The group members will be staying in East Campus University Housing and using facilities across campus, including the Student Center, Student Recreation Center and more. SIU’s Events and Outreach is coordinating the camp in cooperation with units from across the university. Organizers encourage faculty and staff to give these campers and all other SIU visitors a real Saluki welcome.
