SIU System Faculty Collaboration Award nominations open
The Faculty Advisory Committee for the SIU System (FACSS) is accepting applications for its inaugural Faculty Collaboration Award. The annual award will recognize faculty for impactful collaborative endeavors across campuses in the areas of teaching, scholarship and creative activities, service and/or antiracism, diversity, equity and inclusion (ADEI).
The award was created to foster continued collaborations among faculty members across SIU System campuses in support of the SIU System vision and mission. The award will be presented at the SIU Board of Trustees meeting on Sept. 21. Each team, and the individuals, will receive a plaque and a $1,000 cash prize to be equally divided among team members and routed through the campuses’ payroll systems.
The application deadline is Aug. 31. The award application is available at surveymonkey.com/r/FACSSCollabAward. Information on award criteria and eligibility is available on the SIU System vice president for academic innovation, planning and partnerships webpage.
