Horticultural Association plant sale is Sunday
Plants and flowers will be blooming for faculty, staff and students to choose from when the SIU Horticultural Association holds its plant sale on Sunday, April 30.
The event is from noon to 3 p.m. at the SIU Tree Improvement Center, located about four miles west of campus at 241 Thunderstorm Road, Carbondale.
The plant sale will feature a variety of carnations, including classic French introductions that are just coming into bloom, along with annuals and other assorted and less common herbaceous perennials.
