Media Advisory: SIU student research, creative activities highlighted April 13
CARBONDALE, Ill. — The research, scholarly and creative activities of more than 100 Southern Illinois University Carbondale students in all disciplines will be celebrated during the annual Student Research & Creative Activities Forum, Thursday, April 13, in the Student Center Art Gallery.
Reporters, photographers and news crews are welcome to attend the forum, which will take place that morning. A public reception will run from 12:30-2:45 p.m., with posters open for viewing and light refreshments. Organizers will present awards at 3 p.m. in the Old Main Room at the Student Center.
The event is sponsored by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research, Sigma Xi, the University Honors Program and the Graduate and Professional Student Council.
