Media Advisory: SIU Chancellor’s Scholarship visits postponed

CARBONDALE, Ill. – Today’s (Feb. 2) planned visits by Southern Illinois University Carbondale officials to recipients of the Chancellor’s Scholarship have been postponed because some schools remain closed. SIU will notify news media outlets when the visits, which are a surprise to the students, are rescheduled. 

In Southern Illinois, the Chancellor’s Scholarship, which covers tuition, mandatory fees, food and housing for four years, will go to 13 students in 12 high schools.
