Faculty and Staff Excellence Awards nomination deadline is Friday
Each day, our colleagues across campus inspire us with their incredible talent, passion and commitment. The universitywide Faculty and Staff Excellence Awards provide an opportunity to let the SIU community know of that person’s many achievements.
The nomination deadline is 4:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3. The recognition ceremony is set for 3 p.m. April 18 in Morris Library’s John C. Guyon Auditorium.
The awards program is an opportunity to publicly recognize outstanding teaching, significant scholarly and artistic contributions, and dedication our coworkers have to furthering the mission of the university.
Nomination packages should be submitted electronically to the specified award coordinator's email address listed below.
The seven award levels are:
- University-level Scholar Excellence Award (tenured, tenure-track); ovcr@siu.edu.
- University-level Teaching Excellence Award (tenured, tenure-track); apap@siu.edu.
- University-level Teaching Excellence Award (non-tenure track); apap@siu.edu.
- University-level Early Career Faculty Excellence Award; provost@siu.edu.
- Women of Distinction Award (faculty, administrative professional or civil service employees); courtney.crafton@siu.edu.
- Emerging Leader Award (faculty, administrative professional or civil service employees); courtney.crafton@siu.edu.
- University-level Staff Excellence Award (administrative professional and/or civil service employees); pperschb@siu.edu.
