Cornerstone to replace Hire Touch hiring system
A new online hiring system, Cornerstone, has been selected for implementation across the SIU System to replace the current system, Hire Touch, which will be discontinued later this fiscal year. SIU Carbondale’s offices of Human Resources and Information Technology collaborated with their counterparts at SIU Edwardsville and the School of Medicine in the search for a replacement product.
The transition and implementation process is already underway with a goal of being completed by the end of the calendar year or soon after. As this process goes forward, Human Resources and Information Technology will continue to provide updates and seek input from those who rely on this system for their hiring needs.
The transition process will include training opportunities and process instructions for university staff. The university will also make every effort to keep job candidates using the system to apply for positions updated and engaged through the transition to limit any possible disruption.
