SIU hosting campus reception May 23 for Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month
CARBONDALE, Ill. — Southern Illinois University Carbondale will be honoring its Asian American and Pacific Islander faculty, staff and students during a special reception on Monday, May 23, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the Cambria Room at the Student Center. The entire campus community is welcome to attend.
May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, and the university will recognize and celebrate the accomplishments and contributions this diverse group of people have made to the campus and the world with a time to gather and socialize and get acquainted. Refreshments will be served.
