Second annual Student Affairs staff awards took place on April 22
CARBONDALE, Ill — Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s Student Affairs and Dean of Students celebrated this year’s outstanding staff with an awards ceremony on Friday, April 22.
Various staff and their departments received recognition at the event this year.
Awards
- Excellence in Partnerships: Department of Public Safety
- Distinguished Service Award: Frank Kosmicki, assistant director at the counseling center
- Innovation Award: Conference and Scheduling Services
- Social Justice Award: Salukis SPEAK
- Support Professional Award: Don Howard, deputy director at student health services
- New Professional Award: Julie Cannell, mental health coordinator at student health services
- Mission Excellence Award: Jennifer Jones-Hall, dean of students
