Summer camps are underway
As temperatures rise, the numerous summer camp offerings for youths and adults continue. SIU is offering many in-person and virtual summer camps and programs for people of all ages.
Conference and Scheduling Services and Touch of Nature Environmental Center coordinate most of the camps, while Saluki Athletics and other campus units take care of the rest. Touch of Nature is offering a series of summer adventure camps for all ages. They also are offering a new Voyageur camp for teens to help them develop as outdoor leaders. Touch of Nature's groundbreaking Camp Little Giant is for people with differing abilities and it returns in 2021 with several sessions of day camp. For more information, contact Jasmine Cave at jcave@siu.edu or 618-453-3950, or 618-453-2121.
