Operation Graduation Vaccination set for this week
Southern Illinois University Carbondale is partnering with the Jackson County Health Department on Operation Graduation Vaccination to provide COVID-19 vaccinations to anyone age 16 and older at Saluki Stadium on Friday and Saturday, May 7-8.
Operation Graduation Vaccination is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day at the Banterra Center. Vaccinations will be available by appointment or walk-in.
Both the Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer vaccines will be available. Johnson & Johnson is a single-dose vaccination available to anyone age 18 and older. Pfizer is a two-dose vaccination available to anyone age 16 and older (16- and 17-years-olds must have a parent present for consent).
