Microsoft Teams spring training virtual sessions start Wednesday

The Office of Information Technology has set the spring schedule for weekly online virtual demonstration sessions for faculty and staff about Microsoft Teams.

These “Teams Wow!” sessions are designed to engage and inform the university community about Microsoft Teams, as well as encourage its use across campus. Microsoft Teams is an exceptional tool for conducting meetings, doing collaborative work, storing files securely and communications using a variety of interconnected communication tools.

The OIT has also created a second session that covers “Teams Calling.” These sessions are for those who would like to know how “calling features” are incorporated into Teams. During the “Teams Wow!” or “Teams Calling” session, participants will also learn how to request a Teams voice service.

The online demonstrations are available to anyone. Registration and additional information on either session is available here.

“Teams Wow!” sessions are from 9 to 10 a.m. every other Wednesday, starting Feb. 24. The “Teams Calling” sessions are from 9 to 10 a.m. every other Wednesday, starting March 3.
