Judges needed for student research and creative activities forum

Organizers with the Research and Creative Activities Virtual Forum are looking for faculty and graduate students to assist in judging an event that showcases top student research and creative activities.

The virtual forum, set for April 15, will have several interactive features, including video, audio, Zoom and chat to help students present their work. Interested faculty can choose one or both sessions to work as a judge. The judging sessions are from 10:30 a.m. to noon, and 12:30 to 2 p.m. The registration deadline to apply as a judge is March 30 and can be done by completing this form.

The Office of Vice Chancellor for Research has partnered with Genigraphics to provide virtual poster sessions for this year’s forum. The event is open to undergraduate and graduate students.

Faculty who are mentoring interested students may direct them to the registration guidelines and deadlines for students on the website. Public viewing via Zoom will be available from 2 to 3:30 p.m., with the closing ceremony from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
