Media Advisory: Experts on former President Donald Trump’s impeachment trial
Southern Illinois University Carbondale has several experts available to assist reporters and news crews throughout this week on the U.S. Senate’s impeachment trial of former President Donald J. Trump.
The experts’ specialties include the historical significance of a second trial and impact on the nation; constitutional issues involved with the proceedings political polarization, American politics (including presidential politics) and more.
These experts – from the Department of Political Science, the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute and SIU School of Law – with contact information to arrange for interviews, include:
