Green Fund virtual workshops set for this semester
The Sustainability Council will host a series of virtual workshops this semester to give faculty, staff and students an opportunity to learn more about the Green Fund proposal process.
The deadline for submitting a proposal is March 1. The Green Fund workshops provide information and technical assistance to anyone interested in applying for this cycle. Participating in one of the workshops is highly recommended. Register for a workshop.
The spring 2021 workshops are:
- Feb. 1, noon.
- Feb. 3, 5 p.m.
- Feb. 9, noon
- Feb. 11, 5 p.m.
Projects that receive funding this spring are expected to be announced in April.
Instituted in 2009, the Green Fund has awarded funding for 203 projects, totaling over $2.3 million allocated in sustainability across the SIU Carbondale campus community.
