Virtual SIU theater senior showcase set for Dec. 5
CARBONDALE, Ill. – Eleven Southern Illinois University Carbondale graduating seniors have collaborated to honor the Class of 2021 with an online showcase at 7 p.m. Dec. 5 via YouTube.
“Streamin’ the Dream” will include a variety of monologues and musical theater songs in a project that has encompassed socially distanced practices throughout the semester. The senior-required project, presented by the SIU Department of Theater, has been a chance for students to still create a production in an unusual climate for live appearances.
