Multi-factor authentication instructional video is available

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is urging faculty and staff to enroll in multi-factor authentication (MFA) before the end of the semester.

MFA is a two-step process that requires a username and password to sign in, as well as verification that the person requesting access is the legitimate owner of the credentials being used to access a system or account. OIT is also asking faculty and staff to remind students to enroll in MFA before they leave campus.

Those who do not enroll before January will find themselves without access to important systems and services such as email, the network, AIS and SIS systems, D2L, SalukiNet and more until they enroll in MFA.

A new video that explains MFA in simple terms is available now. Step-by-step instructions for MFA enrollment are also available.
