New video declares “It’s our turn”

SIU’s newest video commercial is now appearing on television stations and online, featuring students engaged in academic, research, creative and extracurricular activities, noting that “it’s our turn” to build bridges and “shake things up.” 

The spot is part of a larger campaign targeting prospective students, their families and other stakeholders. It includes digital advertising as well as television, radio, social media, search engine marketing, billboards and print media. 

“We are projecting both opportunity and confidence,” said Rae Goldsmith, chief communications and marketing officer for the university. “The campaign also has a highly targeted component focusing on building awareness of individual academic programs based on student interests.”
