‘Sustainable Cycling’ class available
Faculty, staff and students with an active membership to the Student Recreation Center can participate in a series of classes that will provide participants with an introduction to urban cycling.
There are three classes this fall that will focus on basic bicycle skills and maintenance, commuting in urban areas, and road safety, all while exploring a couple of routes in Carbondale. The first class starts Tuesday, Aug. 25, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
There is no fee for the courses but online pre-registration is required to participate. The program is available to anyone with an active Rec membership. Additional information is available on the class schedule.
