Request to reporters and media organizations covering SIU Carbondale
We have a friendly request for your consideration. File footage and old photos may not accurately represent the current requirements for masks and social distancing on campus.
For example, we are hearing concerns from individuals who have viewed file footage and believe that no one on campus is wearing masks. Of course, this is inaccurate. We respectfully request that file footage or old photos be clearly labeled in a way that makes it clear that they are not current.
