Individual coaching available for Microsoft Teams

The Office of Information Technology is offering 30-minute Microsoft Teams coaching sessions to faculty, staff, and students. These sessions are designed to help users learn how to use the power of Teams to conduct meetings, connect with the campus community, and share work and files.

In these sessions, a knowledgeable “coach” will either answer specific questions regarding an aspect of Teams, or guide participants through a particular tool or task.

Sessions are online (via Teams) by appointment and available to individuals or small groups.

Participants can dictate the content of a coaching session, or select from some of OIT’s structured “how-to” topics:

  • Requesting a Teams site
  • Scheduling and conducting virtual meetings
  • Sharing files and working in them with others
  • Setting up and/or customizing Teams
  • Working with channels and tabs
  • Understanding chats and posts
