Saluki Startup and Weeks of Welcome events planned
CARBONDALE, Ill., — The fall 2020 semester at Southern Illinois University Carbondale may look a little different, but students will be able to enjoy a wide variety of welcome-to-campus activities – both in person and virtually – during Saluki Startup and Weeks of Welcome. Plans include tie-dying T-shirts, bowling and much more!
The schedules are constantly evolving and being updated so students are asked to check often at salukistartup.siu.edu and wow.siu.edu. Or, download the Saluki Superfan app to keep tabs on everything.
New events and details are being added to the schedule all of the time, organizers say, so visit often to make sure you don’t miss out.
In compliance with the governor’s Restore Illinois Plan and to contain the spread of COVID-19, some events will be held in small groups or simultaneously at multiple locations this fall, while others will take place virtually.
