The fully online certificate program consists of four required courses and two electives and can be completed in one year, according to Nancy Martin, an associate professor in Information Technology

The program is offered through the Graduate School and focuses on hands-on, organizational and applied aspects of cybersecurity, Martin said. Students will focus on advanced cybersecurity knowledge, skills and abilities from a perspective of computer networking and build knowledge in areas including:

  • Policy and risk management.
  • System administration.
