Temporary COVID-19 testing site open on campus
The State of Illinois has set up a temporary COVID-19 testing site on the north side of the Student Recreation Center parking lot through Sunday, July 5.
The testing center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., through Sunday, although testing will be closed on Saturday, July 4. Enter the testing site on South Marion Street which can be accessed via Mill Street and follow the signage.
The free testing is open to all Illinois residents regardless of whether the person is symptomatic or have had a known exposure. Participants are asked to bring their insurance card if they have one but no one will be turned away for lack of insurance.
Those being tested must provide a telephone number and their present address to ensure they receive the test results.
