Faculty and staff can receive urgent care services at the Student Health Center

SIU employees can now receive faculty and staff urgent care medical services at the Student Health Center.

All current university employees and (non-Medicare) retirees can receive timely and efficient care from campus physicians and physician assistants through Student Health Services for infections, injuries, rashes and similar medical conditions. Faculty and staff will also have access to lab and x-ray services. The service is not intended to replace primary care for ongoing or chronic medical problems nor is it for treatment of serious issues such as a heart attack, stroke or major injury.

Call 618/536-2391 to make an appointment, available 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Only SIU insurance plans will be accepted and billed; the co-pay is due at the time of service.

The medical services are not available for spouses, dependents or Medicare-eligible retirees.
