Benefit Choice Employee Virtual Fairs are set

In late April, the Illinois Department of Central Management Services (CMS) mailed the FY21 Benefit Choice booklet to employees.  Due to the pandemic and shelter-in-place order, planned in-person fairs were canceled.

CMS on May 1 released the times and dates for the Benefit Choice Employee Virtual Fairs that will be held this month. Pre-registration is not required, and the website includes instructions for participating. These dates and webinar information are also available on the Human Resources website.

If you would like to make changes to your benefits, the Benefit Choice period began May 1 and ends on June 1.  All changes must be made at MyBenefits.illinois.gov.  You may also review plan information on this webpage. Medical and Dependent Care Assistance Programs require employees to re-enroll each year.

If you need assistance, CMS now has AVA, the interactive digital assistant, available online at MyBenefits.illinois.gov.  You may also call the MyBenefits Service Center at 844/251-1777, or 844/251-1778 (TDD/TTY) with inquiries from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
