New Student Programs orientations will go virtual
New Student Programs will transition to online orientation services this summer and expand programming during Saluki Startup in August due to safety precautions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
The current plan includes:
- Video modules via MyCourses (D2L).
- Virtual orientation via Zoom on scheduled orientation dates.
- Expanded on-campus orientation and programming during Saluki Startup.
New Student Programs staff will work diligently to deliver a top-notch virtual experience and provide the resources that students and families need. The program will also work to ensure students get registered for courses and continue to foster relationships between incoming and current SIU students.
