Green Fund workshops set for this semester
The Sustainability Council will be hosting a series of workshops this semester to give faculty, staff and students an opportunity to learn more about the Green Fund proposal process.
The deadline for submitting a proposal is March 1. The Green Fund workshops are a great way to learn about the green fund proposal process. They provide more information and technical assistance to anyone interested in applying for this cycle.
The spring 2020 workshops are:
- Tuesday, Jan. 7, 11 a.m., Morris Library, Room 752.
- Jan. 22, 4 p.m., Morris Library, Room 752
- Feb. 14, noon, Morris Library, Room 752
Projects that receive funding this spring are expected to be announced in April.
Instituted in 2009, the Green Fund has awarded funding for 193 projects, totaling over $2.2 million allocated in sustainability across the SIU Carbondale campus community.
