Luminaires on display in Quigley Hall
The work of 40 fourth-year architecture and interior design students is on display in the Quigley Hall gallery.
Students in Associate Professor Shannon McDonald’s Environmental Design III class, “Lighting and Accoustics” each design and construct a luminaire. Peter B. Smith, an associate professor in the program, is curating the exhibit, which is now in its third year. The exhibit will be up through Wednesday, Nov. 20.
Through Sunday night, visitors can vote on their favorite luminaire. Students who are the top vote-getters receive prizes. Ballots are available in the gallery.
The exhibit is typically open when the building is open, with the luminaires on from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
