Documentary to examine voter suppression

A documentary film next week on campus will examine how groups have worked with certain states to make it more difficult for minority groups and young people to vote.

“Rigged: The Voter Suppression Playbook,” with narration by Jeffrey Wright, will be shown at 7 p.m., Tuesday in Morris Library’s John C. Guyon Auditorium. Admission is free and the film and discussion are open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.

Prior to the documentary, from 6 to 7 p.m., voter registration will be available in the library’s first-floor rotunda.

A discussion will follow the film screening. The award-winning film has earned nominations to film festivals this year.
