‘Can Your Parking Fine’ is Thursday

Want a parking fine dropped? The Department of Public Safety Parking Division is holding a one-day event on Thursday to benefit the Saluki Food Pantry. 

One citation, up to $35 person, may be eligible for dismissal with the donation of a minimum of SIX fruit or protein cans, such as fruit, oranges, and tuna. The eligible ticket dismissal is for the parking citation only, and applies only to tickets issued this semester. 

Any late fees or collection fees must first be paid to accept the donation for citation dismissal.   

The donations will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday only. 

Donations will be accepted at the Parking Division’s main office, 1175 S. Washington St., or the satellite office in the Student Center.
