Immigration/employment seminar is Oct. 17

Immigration attorney Thomas J. Arkell will present essential immigration information and employment options for faculty, staff and students during a seminar at 9:30 a.m., Oct. 17, in the Student Services Building, Room 150-160.

Seminar topics will include:

  • Applications for permanent residence (Green Cards).
  • National Interest Waiver (NIW) petitions.
  • Extraordinary Ability (EB-1A) petitions.
  • Transitioning from F-1 OPT or J-1 to H-1B and issues related to the “H-1B Cap.”
  • Recent changes in immigration, executive orders and other related issues.
