Registration is open for grant writing workshop next month
Faculty and staff are encouraged to attend a free grant writing workshop featuring Marshall H. Kaplan next month at the Transportation Education Center.
The workshop is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Oct. 25, in the facility’s multipurpose room. Registration is open, but the deadline is Oct. 10 and enrollment is limited. The program features several topics and lunch is provided.
Kaplan is a leading mentor and adviser on the acquisition of sponsored academic research funding on grant acquisitions valued from $25,000 to $25 million.
A tenured professor of engineering at Penn State University, Kaplan has more than 40 years of experience in university teaching, research, and administration with a long record of producing successful sponsored research results and strategies.
The event is sponsored by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and the College of Applied Sciences and Arts.
