‘Celebrate 618’ festival includes several events on campus

Several events on campus are part of “Celebrate 618,” a multi-day summer festival in Carbondale that runs through Saturday. 

Festival event times and locations vary throughout the week. Activities will culminate in an all-day festival on June 15 that include a junior jamboree, Carbondale Chamber of Commerce showcase and a Downtown Sounds concert. 

Events on campus throughout the week are: 

• Thursday, June 13 – 7 p.m., Sunset Concert, Shryock Auditorium steps, Donovan Keith, soul rock.
• Friday, June 14 – 7 p.m., Campus Lake, Becker Pavilion, “Luau on the Lake.” Ticketed dinner event with cash bar.
