MATLAB and Simulink are now available on campus

The university recently purchased a campus-wide license to a suite of MathWorks software including MATLAB, Simulink, and a wide array of companion products for specialized tasks such as data analysis and image processing.

MATLAB is a programming environment for algorithm development, data analysis, visualization, and numeric computation. Simulink is a graphical environment for simulation and model-based design.

All SIU Carbondale faculty, students and researchers can install and use these products on their university computers and/or personal devices at no additional cost. Go to the university’s MATLAB portal to download your copy.

Self-paced training that takes less than two hours is available MATLAB Onramp.
