Career Development Center accepting clothing donations
Cleaning out your closet to get ready for the summer? Here is an opportunity to donate to the Career Development Center’s Professional Clothing Closet.
The closet is free to students and gives them the opportunity to select clothing that is appropriate to attend job fairs and interviews. Professional attire of all sizes, preferably purchased within the last five years, is accepted.
Clothing items accepted include:
- Pant suits or skirt suits.
- Blazers or sports coats.
- Nice blouses or shirts.
- Professional dresses or skirts.
- Professional ties.
- Belts.
- Suit scarves.
- Dress socks.
- Dress shoes or closed toe heels.
- Handbags.
- Suit/travel garment bags
Individuals may bring items to the Career Development Center office, Student Services Building, Suite 0110. Curbside assistance for drop-offs is also available. For more information, contact 453-2391 or email careerdevelopment@siu.edu.
