‘Denim Day’ is Wednesday
In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the Student Multicultural Resource Center is sponsoring the 20th annual “Denim Day” at Morris Library on Wednesday. “April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Wednesday marks DENIM DAY, a worldwide annual rape-prevention campaign that encourages everyone to wear denim with a purpose.”
The event’s focus is to raise awareness about sexual assault and show support for sexual assault survivors. The program, from 1 to 3 p.m., will include interactive activities and a customizable photo booth.
The program is in collaboration with the Center for Service Learning and Volunteerism, Saluki Rainbow Network and Wellness and Health Promotion Services.
