Plan now to be part of the spring SIU Day 2019 on April 26
Mark your calendar now and plan to be part of the 2019 SIU Day, set for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 26. Last fall’s inaugural SIU Day brought hundreds of high school students to campus for a fun day of interactive activities and demonstrations. This spring’s event promises to be even more impressive.
The free experience gives prospective students the chance to explore the campus, learn about the majors and programs, enjoy hands-on activities and meet with current students, faculty and staff to see what life as a Saluki is like – in and out of the classroom.
Teens from all over the region will be welcomed to campus and faculty and staff volunteers are needed to help. In addition to facilitating the various activities and demonstrations, volunteers will also guide the guests around the campus and accompany groups of students to activities that will take place at various SIU locations.
